Eric is a wonderful tutor! My daughter is not particularly confident in math and wanted some assistance. She loves working with Eric! He is always patient, funny, and engaging. He helped her perform well and she even got a math award. She has enjoyed the experience so much that my son now works with Eric too. He likes going to tutoring and also finds it fun and informative.

Our daughter utilized Mr Miller’s services last year to assist with her pre calculus class. She went from a very low C in the class and finished the year with a strong B. She did not want to drop the course, time spent with Mr Miller was very beneficial.

My daughter Finley began working with Eric at the beginning of last school year [2021] in person in Roanoke. Math caused her significant anxiety and she was apprehensive to meet. By the 2nd session I could see her relaxing and after a month she seemed to be looking forward to going. Eric is it is intuitive and insightful in his approach. She gained confidence but upon reflection I feel like she gained an ally. In the Spring Eric moved to Greensboro (after all his students completed SOLs)♡ They began having sessions remotely this school year and it was a seamless transition. As a parent I will admit that it is terribly convenient that she can duck into the home office and I don't have to take her to another after-school activity. we are thrilled that we found each other!!

We have been so grateful for the tutoring that our son has received from Mr. Miller over the last year and a half. Eric has helped our son to have the confidence he needs to keep trying when he doesn't first understand a concept. Eric has done a tremendous job filling in the pandemic learning gap from middle school math and preparing our student for 9th-grade math. He understands how to communicate with students. He connects with them giving them reason to trust him. He respects them, never breaking that trust.  He does an amazing job breaking down math facts and steps. A plus; he is funny and likes music!
