Mathematician of the “Week” - Joan Clarke

Joan Elisabeth Lowther Clarke Murray, who died September 4th, 1996, was one of the English mathematicians recruited to work on wartime German codes with Alan Turing at Bletchley Park.

With all the tension of WWII and the mystery and intrigue of the Nazi Enigma machine, Joan Clarke was part of the team to help Alan Turing (https://www.ericmillermts.com/motw/motw-alan-turing) break it.
